I want this car and I see that it costs between $25,000 and $50,000 which is actually quite reasonable.

Everything is a compromise and cost is certainly an issue. That $ range might be attractive to some, but my guess is that if someone really needs a car for getting to a job... that JOB doesn't pay enough to justify it... maybe at the 25K price point, but certainly not at the 50K. Most people I know who would be interested in, and could afford $50 for a commuter car... work from home. A conundrum for sure.

At the end of the day it seems quality of life should be our primary goal, and not just for ourselves, but for our neighbor as well. If that is our goal, efficiency is the thing to focus on. Aptera seems to be looking down that road. Thank you Fawzi for bringing this company to my eyes. It’s got me thinking about an EV in my garage… for the first time. I hope the - Part 2 - of the story is our 2049-author, driving the Aptera and answering the only three questions I have left. 1. Safety? 2. Driving enjoyment? 3. Cost?
