The Year 2049 Championship
– 2nd Edition

Last year, I ran the first-ever Year 2049 championship quiz which was won by Amanda.

Will we get a new champion this year?

We’ve quadrupled in size since we had the first quiz so the competition is more intense now.

And the prizes are better this time:

• 1st place: Mini Trophy + “i’m from the future” hat + $50 gift card

• 2nd place: “i’m from the future” hat + $25 gift card

• 3rd place: “i’m from the future” hat + $10 gift card

All you need to do is get the highest score on a 15-question quiz. If there’s a tie, winners will be determined by the fastest time to complete*.

*To avoid people doing research to get a perfect score, any quizzes that take more than 5 minutes to complete will be eliminated. That should give you 20 seconds per question.

Reflecting on 2022

Year 2049 recently hit 1,000 subscribers and I wanted to thank you all for being among the first people who subscribed. Writing the newsletter takes a lot of effort and energy on top of a full-time job, but you all make it worthwhile.
